The Diagnostic Radiology Department includes modern ultrasonic devices with automatic ultrasonic devices in addition to CT-scan, X-ray, MRI, and DXA equipment in addition to Positron emission mammography (PEM), which is one of the latest devices used for detecting breast cancer which helps in determining the type of required surgery.
Furthermore, a Positron emission tomography (PET) device has recently been installed at Baheya Hospital, as part of the continuous development plan. This is a key device for detecting the spread of tumors in the body.
Baheya is considered one of the Hospital pioneers that started the accreditation on AI in 2021 through these protocols:

Research collaboration with GE Healthcare, France to develop AI solutions for CESM mammogram detection and evaluation of response post-NAC.

- Baheya oncology department includes premium quality professors and physicians who provide the highest healthcare for all cancer fighters in Baheya. They provide close follow-up to patients from the very beginning, accompanying them in their treatment journey with its different stages until the post-treatment follow-up stage.
- The Oncology department provides emergency phone service 24/7 by oncology specialists to follow up on the patient’s condition directly and provide medical advice immediately if the patient suffers any side effects.
