Baheya Center for Early Detection and Treatment of Breast Cancer is organizing the first scientific conference on physiotherapy, showcasing its modern techniques to serve breast cancer patients. The conference aims to highlight the latest scientific advancements in providing physiotherapy and support to cancer patients, being the first of its kind in Egypt and the Middle East under the sponsorship of Baheya Foundation. The conference will be held with the participation of several deans of physiotherapy faculties from prestigious universities:

Amal Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Physiotherapy at Cairo University
Adel Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Physiotherapy at Misr University for Science and Technology
Amira Daraz, Faculty of Physiotherapy at Hertfordshire University
Sami Abd El-Samad, Dean of the Faculty of Physiotherapy at the Chinese University
Adly Sabour, Dean of the Faculty of Physiotherapy at Badr University
Alfat Diab, Dean of the Faculty of Physiotherapy at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts
Additionally, professors from the University of Texas will attend to exchange medical expertise in the field of physiotherapy services for cancer patients. The conference includes enhancing the role of physiotherapy in the lives of cancer patients and its importance in improving their ability to perform functional and motor tasks during various daily activities, thereby improving their quality of life. Dr. Mohamed Emara, Executive Director of Baheya Hospitals, expressed his great pride in the achievements of Baheya Medical Center over seven years of providing excellent and advanced medical and therapeutic services. Breast cancer patients need physiotherapy after mastectomy to easily perform their daily tasks. The physiotherapy department is equipped with the latest devices and technologies required by patients during their treatment journey. The main goal of the conference is to spotlight the importance of physiotherapy in the cancer patient's treatment journey and to highlight the role of the physiotherapy department at Baheya and the latest technologies used therein.
